Yes, Virginia, You Can Eat Local This Winter!

Our first Winter CSA Shares just went out to a bunch of happy families, which we’re pretty happy about… If you didn’t join this year or the CSA is just not your thing, you can now eat local all winter long, thanks to this news:

Norwich Farmers' Market in Winter

Norwich Farmers’ Market in Winter, Tracy Hall

The Norwich Farmers’ Markets this winter are twice a month November thru April at Tracy Hall, right on Main Street in Norwich! Come see us and a bunch of our farming pals roughly every other Saturday 10 am to 1 pm!

Here are some of the highlights:

November 23 — the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Come for fresh Luna Bleu Greens and other delicious additions to your holiday table.

December 7 — Special Holiday Market with extended hours: 10-2. You will find more vendors and crafters at this market. Even the farm will have some more gifty crafted farm goods: garlic braids and chili wreaths (oh, now I guess I have now publicly committed myself to making these!).

December 21 — Last market of 2013…. And did you know that at any time you can get Norwich Farmers’ Market gift certificates… what a great way to share some of the best in local with a friend!

January 11 through April 25, 2014 — Markets are on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. We’ll be looking for you!

And Saturday, MAY 3rd — the outdoor market starts up again weekly!
